Therapy for ADHD and Autistic Minds
Neuroaffirming, clinically grounded support built around how your brain actually works. Understand how you're wired, and build a life that works with it.
A Clinical & Neuroaffirming Approach
You've built a life that looks like it's working.
You manage. You get things done, you're the one people rely on, and from the outside it looks fine.
Whether you're formally diagnosed, self-identify as neurodivergent, or simply know you're a highly sensitive person, the label doesn't matter here. This work meets your neurodivergent brain as it is, regardless of what name it goes by, or whether it has one yet.
Maybe you procrastinate on things you actually want to do, or start ten things and finish none of them. Maybe you feel like you're always running behind, or you take things personally even when you know you shouldn't.
Maybe too much happening at once makes you go quiet or shut down, or a normal day still leaves you needing a full day to recover.
Maybe you crash after socialising even when you had a good time, and somewhere in all of it you've wondered if you're just lazy, or too sensitive, or too much.
If any of that sounds familiar, you're not managing wrong. You're managing yourself just to get through the day, and that's exhausting in a way most people around you don't see.
If any of that sounds like You…
you're in the right place.
I Spent Years Misdiagnosed. Then I Found Out What Was Actually Going On.
I'm Serena, a qualified counsellor, registered with the Australian Counselling Association, and I practice as a therapist outside that jurisdiction.
For years, I was misdiagnosed with depression and anxiety.
I was the overachiever, good at school, capable, the person everyone assumed had it together. Behind that was someone struggling to cope with emotions at an intensity other people didn't seem to feel, stuck trying to work out why life felt so much harder for me than it looked like it did for everyone else.
Getting diagnosed meant relearning who I actually am, apart from the person I turned myself into so people would stop asking if I was okay.
That's why this work doesn't stop at education. Understanding how your brain works matters, but it's the starting point, not the destination. From there, we go into identity work, the beliefs that no longer serve you, the values and vision for a life that's actually yours.
I know what this work takes because I've done it, and continue to do each and every day.
